Home at last...Missed home soooo much,guess i am definetly a home bird at heart.Crete was really beautiful,very relaxed & where we stayed was beautiful,clean & very friendly.The locals were very welcoming from the start,sitting on the side of the road with a good word to say each time you passed,crime rate extremely low.Found it hard not being able to flush paper down the toilet but by the end of the holiday it was just a way of life.................lol.Also found it rather expensive at times eg a small bottle of coke was 2.50 in places water was 2 euro a small bottle in a restuarant whilst only 25 cents in a supermarket bearing in mind we were not near a supermarket it did get expensive..............lol.Darragh loved his holidays,made lots of friends,danced the nights away with the girls,met dogs,cats & birds....................got lots of little gifts from the shop owners........lmao.Temp was up to 36 so it was very hot,we did siesta in the afternoons because it was tooooooooooo hot to be out unless you were shaded.....the second week was better because we had gotten used to it.We had one day of storms & torental rains....rains like i have never ever seen befroe abroad but it was fantastic at the same time..............lol.Here are some pics of Dar enjoying his hols.
