Anyways i decided i would do a tutorial for anyone that wants to try this,it is not a brill finish as i was rushing so i could watch hells kitchen...............lmao
Ok here goes hope you find this easy girls,if not leave a comment & i will try to explain a little better...lol
Using a compass draw a circle on your card, you can also use a colluzzle ( which i have & forgot until i had finished the card...lol)
Cut out your circle
Using a contrast paper cut a larger circle to cover the one you have already cut on your card ( it is hard to see the contrast colour here sorry...lol)
Get your corner punch
Most corner punches have an end that can be removed. You need to remove it for this tutorial.
Push your card flat onto the end of your cutter,it has to be flat against it at all times
Where the knife points is where the next corner on your cutter starts each time, now when you start punching this you will think you are doing it wrong but your not just keep going....
This will be your finished product ...see i told you it would work....lol
Now you need to place it over the circle cut on your card
Turn it over & pencil in the circle on the back so it will be a perfect fit
This is what it will look like when you have finished cutting the circle.Note on the outside it is a little imperfect...That is because it wasn't a perfect circle for the punch but it is very easily disguised with a little ribbon or embellie.
You can use the circle you cut from your scallop or cut a bigger one to place inside the card,i used the circle i cut & stamped on it
This is the scallop glued to the card
