Trying to brave the past few days .....

Can't even begin to think why life has to be so hard at times....My brother in law was kidnapped from his pub taken at gunpoint ,then terrorised, had something poured over his head that burnt all his hair off, then told his wife & children were next before they put him in his van & set fire to it.....Honestly when did our little Island become so terrifying...so harmful,so non caring.Thankfully he survived this & is trying to comprehend how this happened to him,he says he is never going back to the pub again. It was trashed & all the seats were slit & torn, the walls painted, just sheer vandilism.I know they had trouble early on in the week with some customers but if this was payback it was very severe & uncalled for.

The same night about 2 mins from my house there was a severe car accident,it involved 2 cars, one carrying 2 children & the other a lone passenger that lives near me,that poor young boy died instantly, the other car careered into a house seriously injuring a 7 year old & a 50 year old.One child from the car is also seriously injured, please please please say a prayer for all involved, tonight there is a mum without her 23 year old son.
A smile was brought back to our lives today as the garda helicopter landed in the field next to us & Darragh was picked up & put into the seat with a helmet,as it was his b/day party he was thrilled to bits. The pilot was such a thoughtful guy as were the Gardai with him.I felt tat was a ray of sunshine in a cloudy few days.Dar had a great party,it is hard to imagine he is 3 already, time goes too fast.

OMG what a horrible thing to happen to your BIL. I don't know how someone could even think to do something so awful to another human being. My prayers go out to your family.

The pictures of your son are so adorable, I hope he had a fun birthday!
Take care
