Fun day out..........

We started out traveling early today,we stopped at the cornfield just outside Cashel & I managed to get some pics of Dar,he was facinated with the height of the corn & the fact that he could go hide from us.It was such a beautiful warm day & he had such fun....

We got to my mums at lunch time so we dined at Corbett Court for our lunch,it was very busy but as ever the food was fantastic,Anna the owner came over to chat as she hadn't seen Dar for over a year, she couldn't believe how big he had gotten, she decided he should have free lunch & desert,i think that is so sweet,it is nice to know that your years of custom is appreciated.

Back to mums & it was time to have fun in the garden,Dar was on overdrive,he was full of energy,he decided he should dig his Grandmas garden for her,so off went mum to get a trowl for him,my nephew Shane arrived so he entertained Dar whilst we had a glass of home-made lemonade...yummmmm.

Time for a run round the garden before it got a bit chilly & Dar decided it was time to go inside,i thought it was nap time...More fool me...lol.Dar decided it was quality time for his Grandma & himself, yes we were all excluded at this stage,i grabbed the camera & got some great shots. They connect so well & they adore eachother,i love that my mum gets to enjoy my grandchild, her great grandchild.Isin't the circle of life an amazing thing, life is for the living so grab it with both hands & don't let a moment go by that doesn't make a memory....

Thanks for sharing all the fun tidbits from your day. Sounds fun! I love the pictures! You got some great ones!

Today was my Dad's birthday and I made him a card. I used the Storybook font again...I love it. I love the cartridge for the extras, but I am loving the font, too. It is very elegant and manly at the same time (at least I think so). Anyway, I can't thank you enough!

Here's the link to my card:
