What a scorcher today was!!!!!! We headed off to the beach & i got scalded,i was so worried about Dar & covering him in lotion every hour i forgot to cover myself often enough.The beach was packed to the gills.We walked most of the day so Dar was exausted but thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is his first trip to the beach this year,so we had to make up for lost time & build castles galore.....lol.
My son Chris & his g/f Sarah came down to join us so it was a great day out.We are deciding wether we should invest in a camper or not.We had a caravan for years when the kids were young & always parked in Ardmore from June to late September,the the kids got bigger & didn't want to leave their friends for the summer so we sold it.Now i feel i would like to go traveling for the summers as there is only the two of us!!!! Might think some more on it but either way by next summer i am going to have a place to stay by the sea even if it means we have to buy a house there .....lol

The bird does indeed look very regal.
