Christmas gone & another year to start anew......lol.

I am glad Christmas is over & no i am not a bah humbug kinda gal...lol.

Christmas is a tough time for me as my dad passed on Christmas eve,my nephew passed in December & also my wonderful nan so it is a tough month to get through for us.It has become bearable since Dar came along & i love celebrating it with him .Junie stays here on Christmas eve so Dar has santa visit him here.It is so wonderful to have a child in the house again,i had forgotten how much fun it could be.

Christmas morning at 6.30 Dar comes trashing throught the bedroom screaming

"Nanny Grandad wake up quickly but don't make noise...Santy came & i gots lots of presents & you can't make noise caused he can comes back & see me".

We duely jump out of the bed & go quietly down the stairs & there is a sweet,adoreable 3 & a half year old boy with a beaming smile from ear to ear exclaiming that santa just came down the chimney & dropped all the toys,then he looked round & saw it was messy & decided to tidy them all up under the tree...........i just laughed at his innocence....Moments like that you want to lock away & hold dearly forever.

As ever he got far too much & was opening gifts up too today,personally i think it is unbelieveable that one child can get so much & want to play with it all...sigh!!!!

His all time fav was his trains & tracks,yes 2 of them...lol.

I was back at work after Stephens day so i had a short reak...lol.

New Years was celebrated here,i had 17 for dinner so it was fantastic,Mum was back from Lanzarote & we had a memorable day.

Tonight is my first night being able to sit here for over an hour without someone shouting up the stairs...lmao.

So to all my friends & those that visit my blog i would like to wish you all a Happy,Healthy,Wonderfully prosperous new year.......

I would also like you to say a prayer for a friends friend whom passed away & will be sadly missed by friends & family...

Her name is Dawn Hazel Daniels may she rest in peace.....
